Viewing the webcast I was struck by the desire to analyse and enable business processes. Whilst being a key element of a service oriented approach, we have recently been discussing locally whether this is helpful in the context of a University, where we also need to consider, and probably prioritise, research processes, teaching processes, and learning processes, the core of what we are there for. These are business processes, but can usefully be considered in the light of their particular contexts.
